We are. The whole weekend is pretty much just cleaning up this pigsty. I'm in the mindset right now of, 'HOW does this house get SO bad when we are barely home all week long?" But it really does not take long at all. The kids change in the living room and leave thier clothes on the floor, dirty dishes remain on the tables, clean laundry lives in the baskets cuz there is no time to put it all away, the beds never get made, papers are left to pile up on the desk, the end tables, and the kitcen table. There has GOT to be a better way!! LOL
SO anyway, thats what we are doing this weekend. I've already finished in the kitchen, moving on to the clothes. Whats going on for every one else?

UGH!!! I probably will be. I cleaned quite a bit yesterday for the princess's party last night, but my house is ALWAYS a pigsty, so I need to clean more. We're having our interior painted next wk, so I really need to clean baseboards and door/window frames, etc. as I'm embarrassed for the painters to see how filthy they are. Plus I need to pack up all the breakables in the china cabinet, entertainment center, etc. BAH HUMBUG!!!! I hate cleaning (Gee....I wonder if that's why it's always a pigsty ).

I did my normal cleaning at home during the week.
Today I went to our mobile home at our campground place and cleaned it for 3 1/2 hours. It was not messy, cluttered or dirty from last year. I had to clean up after the bugs (beetles and stinkbugs) and mice. They set up shop for the 6 months we abandon the trailer. I used the shop vac, dyson and then steam cleaned the carpet. Washed all the windows, kitchen & bathroom floor, cleaned the fridge, counters, bathroom, hung up all the curtains.

I was just about to start a thread about this! We came home an hour ago from picking up our angel food order and its like I'm seeing it for the first time. The weather is beautiful here and cleaning is not tempting right now but the thought of seeing this mess everytime we walk in the door is too much to bear. I'll be doing some picking up and clearing off surfaces when ds takes a nap today.

ROFL! I know the feeling well!!!
Well, so far I was able to clean the kitchen, assist in cleaning the living room, and bathroom, but the rest of the house isn't done. Its beautiful this weekend, and I SO don't want to clean. Meghan has a softball game at 12, and my mom invited us over today to cookout, so I doubt we'll get much more done around here!
I am off Tuesday and Wednesday, its supposed to rain. Maybe I'll be more in the mood to get this place straight.

No, not reallly!! No time this weekend! I obviously still have to do the basics: laundry, dishes, puppy kennel cleaning and the puppies (7 of them) all need a bath this morning since we have prospective buyers coming. Of course the kids all need baths too (6 of them ) and I have plants to pot.
Does that count as cleaning???
