I am beyond tired of trying to keep all of the stuff we have in any kind of order. We live in a small house with no storage so it's all going. For the past two weeks i've been weeding out the stuff we don't use. I am going to finish up over the next few days and "throw it all out" in the yard and have a yard sale. Whatever doesn't sell is going to Goodwill. It's NOT coming back inside.

Good for you!! I have sorta been doing that only throwing bags in the attic to do the yard sale later and now my attic is a huge mess. Now my motivation is heading up there so I can have this sale. After the sale anything I see that I don't want anymore is going straight to Goodwill - no more bagging up for later.

Good luck!

we use to have the yard sales but we paid more out for the ad in the paper and bristol boards for signs then we made..so we just bag it up and bring it to value village now( thrift store).

I'm doing the same thing. We have a large house, and it is cluttered. If we ever moved (which we do a lot) we'd move into a smaller house. So, our new line of thinking is, that if everything doesn't fit into this house, it certainly won't fit into a smaller house. We are now in the process of getting rid of a ton of stuff.

I am putting it all out on the front porch and then come Thursday it goes in the yard. I gave up on ads in the paper. I just put up a sign at the beginning of the week and see what happens.

Good for you! I wish I had the motivation to do that. We just had a garage sale this last weekend and after we took about 4 big boxes full of stuff and set it on the curb with a FREE sign. It was gone within an hour! I may do that more often.
