there's this one too - look at the bottom of the above website where it says "you may also like" and you'll see it.

both colors are available in long/short (and also in orange).

If you dont' want to be so bold, you could always do a tropical/island theme and put a few touches of Hawaii here and there. A print of a tropical/island view, a few leis draped over a lamp, etc. Rattan furniture is very tropical and they have the heavy duty rattan outdoor furniture. Stick a bold big flowery cushion on it. If I think of more, I'll post again.

Thanks! I'm having trouble finding affordable, Hawaiian/tropical bedspreads or comforters. I thought it would be easy to find some with a hibiscus flower print, but I was wrong! lol. I need two because she has bunkbeds. I may have to go with solid comforters and just sew some hibiscus slipcovers for her throw pillows . . . add that to my summer project list!

Could you try finding a hibiscus print sheet and a matching solid sheet and make a cover to use over her existing comforter? Those are really easy and would be a cinch to wash too.

I plan to stain the swing set, reorganize the basement so the Montessori stuff is more accessible, purge the house and have a huge garage sale, and try to do school more than we have.

Using sheets to make a duvet cover is a great idea! I did it years ago and had not thought of it for dd's room. I'll keep an eye out for hibiscus sheets now. However, because she had quilts, I'll also have to buy a couple of inexpensive comforters to cover. The ones at Ikea are pretty affordable. Thanks for jogging my memory!

We're renovating one of the bathrooms, painting the bedrooms upstairs and hopefully putting in some sort of a garden.
