Here are some ways to benefit and use the natural light that comes through our windows:

1. Open up your home's interior by hanging up white muslin sheers instead of heavy drapes.

2. Expose your hardwood floor. The light that comes from the outside will reflect off the surface of it and brighten the room. If you don't want completely bare floors scatter some small area rugs in pale colors to make it feel more cozy.

3.When mirrors are strategically placed in a room, it allows for you to bring the light outside in and make the room appear lighter as well as bigger.

4. Lighting- hang a chandelier with lots of light catching prisms. They will reflect the sunlight and bounce it around the room and to further the effect make sure to paint the ceiling with a high gloss white paint.

Some other tips:

-Use slipcovers in shades of white to create an airy, stress-free space.
-Clutter-free rooms allow more light to shine on clean, bare surfaces.
