you use for storage?

I have different items that get stored under the bed because they are to long to put somewhere else and I use them often.

Some things that I store under our bed are: gift wrap box, gift bag box, suitcases and I noticed yeaterday when I pulled out my gift bag box that I need to declutter and organize under the bed!

Does your under the bed space need a decluttering and organizing?

We have space but it is very organized. We have the bed up on risers so it is a good height up (Hurts like holy heck if you fall out of bed though ) We have the kids school work storage boxes, 2 rolling suitcases with their smaller ones in them, and some extra blankets and pillows in a bed bag.

We just sleep on a mattress on the floor so there is no 'under' the bed.

We'll save up one day for a bed. Last year it was a deck, this year new floors, next year, perhaps a bed.

The only thing I keep under our bed in our bedroom, is our featherbed. During the summer months, I store it under our bed. Otherwise, nothing else is under there. In the guest room, I do store the kids down duvets under the bed in there during the summer months.

I have 2 under the bed storage boxes. I keep wrapping paper and bows in one, the other has off-season shoes.

We have 3 long under-the-bed storage boxes. One has our gift wrap supplies, one has DD's clothing that she has yet to grow into, and the other is miscellanous home accessories that we don't have room for anymore.

I should definitely look into decluttering these boxes!

[quote=KathrynHannah;659323]We just sleep on a mattress on the floor so there is no 'under' the bed.

We had to sleep on a mattress and box spring on the floor for quite a few years. We just got a kingsized bed and bedframe from freecycle last year. I don't know why I decided to accept it, normally I would think it was gross, but something told me to take it, and it was like brand new. We were very lucky to get it, my husband is so tall, he even has to sleep a little slanted on a king size. Before, we had a full size.

There is nothing under our bed besides dust bunnies, and the occassional piece of clothing that gets shoved underneath, but I plan on getting some flat boxes to help get some of the stuff out of the closet. Maybe I can put my scrapbook stuff under there.

Most of our christmas stuff is under our bed, though I really hate it there. But that's where it has to go, so I'll have to deal. *sigh*
