Why is it kids think that walls are canvases yearning for writing on?!?!

To erase pencil smudges from walls without leaving marks, rub with a slice of fresh rye bread or a soft white vinyl eraser.

Is there anything else that you found that works wonders on the artwork your kids decided to contribute to the walls?

I just use one of those good white erasers...comes right off. I've also gotten it off with spray cleaner and a cloth.

Those Magic Erasers are great with pencil marks and scuff marks.

My dd drew a wreath on the front door (which is painted metal!) with a pencil, and also traced her hand!! It's still there because I have no idea how to erase it without messing up the paint or having to repaint the whole door. I'm afraid a regular eraser will just leave the same outline as the "artwork", and I'm thinking so will a Magic Eraser?? I don't know what "white eraser" you ladies are talking about. What's that? A Magic Eraser?
