This is one that my ds did for me for Mother's Day, but I think it would be perfect for Father's Day too. Simply take a photo of your child wearing Daddy's clothes, and print it out in black and white. Mount on black matting or frame with the saying, "Even when I'm all grown up I'll always love you" or "When I grow up, I want to be just like you!"

What are YOUR ideas?

This is what my daycare kids are making. I bought some plain mouse pads at Ikea. I am printing their photos and ironing them on. Then they will color around the photos.
----
Past ones I've done are wallet photo cards with a photo on one side and they decorate it on the other side. Made a shirt card with tie.
----
A foamie saw--they decorated it and I wrote "You're the best dad I ever saw!!" on it. These were made from foamie door knob hangers.
----
A small plastic box for tackle bait that they decorated. Then we made fishing pole cards.
----
I can't remember more at the moment.

I got a tshirt for DH and a onesie for DS, and I took a picture of DS dressed up holding a sign that says "I love you Daddy! Happy Father's Day!". I got them printed onto the shirts, so they'll be matching.

I have 3 boys and at some point was going to take their pictures all together with each one holding a wood letter (from Hobby Lobby). One holding an I, the middle one holding a heart and the last one holding a U. Just the other day I was at a friends house and she had her kids forming the letters to spell I love you. Each letter was cut out of the individual pictures. It was so cute. She'd have 1 be the I, and 2 others would be an L... it was VERY cute!

I am loving your dressing up in dad's clothes idea though. Might be hard though, since my boys are so little (almost 5, almost 3 and almost 1). Hmm...

We bought a plain white apron at Michaels and are using fabric and acrylic paint to decorate it. I'm putting my sons handprint on it and then writing "Let's give Dad a hand because he's the grilling man"

I posted this in the other thread, but I printed off some of the pics I have of DH and the baby, and put them in one of those photo collage frames. Some of them were pics with me, but I cut me out LOL.

That pic is washed out, here's one of the pics, with the "true" color!

I think that I'm going to make this wallet for dh. I don't know if I'll put any gift cards in it, but thought that I could make coupons (ei- movie rental of his choice, day off to golf, dinner of his choice, etc) and put those in. Instead of putting money in the main section I thought I could have the kiddos color a piece of paper the size of a $1 bill and have that as their card.
