On Mondays I always
dust (all rooms)
thoroughly vacuum (I do a quick vacuum daily)
change sheets
bleach kitchen counters and tables (I use a natural cleaner the rest of the week)
mop floors
laundry (one load per day M-F)
I tilex the bathroom on the weekend when I have time to clean it well and then shower, so I don't have to do it on Monday.

I do a lot on Monday because it is the only day of the week we don't have an activity or babysitting. I also try to not do as much on the weekend to give myself a break, so the house needs it to start the week off right.

Monday is vacuum and dust day. A lot of times I also do laundry. Laundry is a never ending battle at my house.

Ever since I heard about how women in the "old days" used to do laundry on Mondays (called "Blue Monday") it's made sense to me to do this too. Wash all the clothes you need for the week on Monday, including "Sunday clothes".

I TRY to stick to that schedule, but alot of times I can't.
Every Monday I think of this, though!!
