I also wash and Put them Back on the bed! I only have one or two sheet sets per bed, and I Don't fold the fitted sheets perfect But they Still look neat since we don't have a bunch crammed in the linen Closet.
OH And I Love ironed sheets! It does make a difference and the sheets feel Better to sleep on ! 
I Have only done that 2 times in the past 6 yrs though - It is way too time comsuming.
I Heard so much about it , I Thought I would Try it- And I See the hype- I Just don't have the time.
