I have read were you should store them with the opening up not down so you don't trap air in the cup part because it will create a smell inside.

I have always stored mine with the cup part down because I don't want dust in that part and then have to rewash them and I have never had a smell, but it could happen I suppose.

How do you store yours?

I store all my glasses upright.

I have 2 huge wine glasses (like 23 oz ones) that I won at the fair and 4 green wine glasses that my grandma gave to me. I used to have 4 of the big ones but fiance broke 2 on the same day!! So helpful!

Upside down. I can't imagine them getting a smell because they are clean when you put them in the cabinet and they are made of glass - sounds like a myth to me.
