I can't get motivated to clean. Partly because my house is such a disaster i don't know where to start. Secondly when i do have time i don't want to clean......I want to be on the computer or etc........I watch infants all week and when they sleep the last thing i want to do is laundry, clean and etc.....I want ME time then.

Anyone else looking at piles of stuff and just can't seem to jump in and start?

1000mg Fish Oil daily and an energy drink can do wonders for motivation. If you watch infants all week, though, that'll suck the energy out of you and you shouldn't be too hard on yourself.

With all the recent junk going on in my life lately, I have noticed that I am getting way behind on everything. So yes, I am, in a funk!

It is soo easy to get into a funk but so hard to climb out if it. I know I can easily get into a "let someone else do it" attitude, only thing there is no one else. The kids are getting better at picking up their stuff so that has helped a little. I am the one that just gets sooo lazy that I dont want to do anything but either watch tv all day or sit in front of the computer.
Wasnt there cleaning challenges that someone was posting daily?? Those really helped me not be quite so lazy.
I know I have even written up a cleaning schedule for the week. I need to get that out again and get back on it.

It's easy to get into funks with cleaning, I have been there before and the thing that I found that works is to start small, do one room at a time and set a timer.
For example start with one room, set the timer for 10-15 minutes and get cleaning when that timer goes off stop and walk away and take a break and then go back to it.

Do you have a reccomondation for which brand of Fish Oil to use? I want to buy some, but I know that not all brands are pure. I would like to give it to the kids too. I was using Avons' for a little while, but it is 10 dollars a bottle, and I was suppose to take 2 capsules a day.
As for the energy drinks, I have been curious about those too, but was too scared to try them. I was thinking drinking them everyday would be bad for me. Not to mention the ones I have tastes don't taste so good.

Well I got the bottle of Fish Oil and it's Nature Made brand and 1200mg. I get mine at Walgreens when they have a BOGOF sale and use coupons to make it even cheaper. I'm not sure on the purity of them but they seem to help pretty good. As for the energy drinks, they aren't the best for you but if you need an extra boost sometimes they come in handy. I used to drink Redbull since my sister works for them and used to give us free cases but she stopped after getting us addicted, lol. I tried Monster and it's cheaper and I think I like it better(don't tell sis). It also doesn't have the after taste Redbull can have and tastes a little better. I don't drink them everyday but they are good to have around for those hard to get motivated days.

I am in a funk too. However nothing like the garage flooding due to a broken water heater to de-funk you. I have been in the garage working and now I am finding the energy to work on the house again.

I don't recomend this solution though.
