Most times it's in good order by the time dh comes home, but that's just because I tidy it all day long. I have ds put his toys away, unless he's working on a project. It doesn't have anything to do with dh though, I don't feel I have to justify my SAHMing to him. He's already on board, we discussed that even before we got married! If he were the type to question why the house wasn't clean when he got home, I wouldn't have married him!
I do have dinner ready when he comes home, just because he gets home later and by that time we're all famished. But on the odd occasion that it isn't ready, or I don't feel like it for whatever reason, we just pack in the car and head somewhere. No questions asked.
