If so do you iron more in the summer or winter months?

It seems like the only time that I iron is when I am making a costume for my DD's play's, but if I have to it is more in the summer months.

Only on rare occasions!

One of our friends told us that he cannot let his grandchildren stay the night because his wife has to iron the sheets and it is too much work for her.

I love to iron!

I iron everything! I use to iron DH's t-shirt, starch and everything, but he finally put a stop to that

I even iron our pillowcases!

I hate ironing and only do it if I absolutely have to. My dryer is my iron.

I own an iron. It's 21 years old (wedding gift). I believe it has been used maybe 4 times in 21 years.

So no, I do not iron.

It's a standing joke in my family.

I iron Perlier beads and that's about it! All my things come out wrinkle free and smooth if I take them out of the dryer in time.

I was just talking with this with neighbors yesterday.

I think the people with girls iron more than the people with boys. Girls always have a ruffle or a flouce here. Unless you choose not to, all boys clothes come in a blend that come out perfectly smooth if you don't let them sit in the dryer.

Of course I love 100% anything as well but when dh and I got married I gave him his choice: wear 100% cotton (untreated) and iron them himself, or buy a blend and I'll wash, dry, fold or hang and put everything away.

Guess which one he chose? I guess it depends on How much you really want something, now doesn't it!!

Hmph. Sounds like an excuse my mother would use to keep my dd from spending the night at her house.

I do iron, but I don't like it. Even if I pull clothes out of the dryer right away, many things are still wrinkled.

I can't tell you the last time I picked up my iron. I think the only time it gets used is when I have company over and they use it to iron their clothes before church! I let my dryer do the work for me and if somehting is still wrinkly I used Downy Wrinkle Release!
