I wash all ours in a front loader...

washing machine and air dry ( preferably outside)

First I air them out, then machine wash them (seperatley) then air dry them outside. When they are dry I usually spray them down with Febreeze antimicrobial spray- let that dry then store them. It's a long list but hey- I like my stuff smelling good when I use them to sleep!
