How often do you guys clean all your windows?

Do you do them inside and out each time?

Only clean them twice a year, Spring and Fall?

I give all my windows a throughly cleaning inside and out every Spring and Fall.

Then throughout the year I do have to clean my picture window and the window above my sink more often along with the patio door windows.

I clean inside once a month...outside, even though I have windows that tip in for 'easy cleaning', they're a bit of pain. So I hire some guys to come do it (they're actually firefighters) every spring.

I use a microfiber cloth for glass...I got it at Target and LOVE it. You can use it wet or dry, with or without cleaner.

I do the insides of the LR, DR, and MB every day because of nose prints and dog drool. I do the outsides and the other windows every month

Well.......

I think I've cleaned the windows for the first time here since DH bought the house - three years ago.

I've also taken all the screens out and washed them, cleaned all the storm windows both sides, and both sides of the regular windows. I didn't realize exactly HOW crappy our windows are, but no wonder this place is a bear to heat. The "storm windows" are a joke. I've been putting off doing them because I knew it was going to become a major project. I'm going to have to figure out some way of sealing them better, probably start looking for deals on caulking.

They will be done MUCH more frequently from here on out!

I clean the inside when I see smudges. I have the entire windows cleaned once a year but generally do the outside of the main floor a second time in the fall.

Basically when they look dirty on the inside and I haven't cleaned the outside yet and I have lived here five years. I guess that is an area I let slide a bit. At least you can still see out of them.
