it being so hot in some places, cold in others and the floods?

My garden is doing actually really well this year, but I did notice some of my flowers certain types are not having such a good growing season.

winter stayed a long time here, so I put my garden in late. I bought tomato plants and put them in just a week after I planted all the seeds, that's how late it was. Now of course it's so stinkin' hot and we are still adjusting the sprinklers to give my plants enough water.

I never got mine planted. All of May it rained and than with the flooding in June, I just never got around to it. Now there is no plants around to buy and I dont think that I would have much luck with seeds. Maybe next year.

It's rained so much here that we are constantly (at least the month of May we were) taking the pots inside everytime it rained because it POORED and never stopped it seemed like...

We are container gardening.
