Default Silly Putty out of fabric

Anyone have any ideas on how to get silly putty out of a mesh fabric? ug! My daughter stuck her silly putty on my mesh back office chair. Its in the holes of the fabric.

WD40...it's worked for me on clothing, stuffed animals and carpet.

Here are a few things you can try:

WD40
Rubbing Alcohol
Goo Gone
Take some ice and hold it against it or put it in a container and let it sit on the silly putty for 15-20 minutes, it will freeze the putty.

i hate silly putty! my daughter got it stuck in her hair for easter and it broke her hair(she has really fine hair). no more silly putty here. now i now why my mom hated the stuff

Salt works, too. You just pour it on and let it sit. Ten minutes later, it comes right out. The next best thing to try might be Simply Green. It is WONDERFUL stuff...and gum gets out of hair, terri cloth, you name it. Let it also sit for about ten minutes before rubbing off. As for in the holes, a q-tip might be able to rub it off, since the spray/salt should easily go in.
