Does everyone have goals of what they would like to get done (craft, home improvement, etc.) before the fall. I have a list in my head and so far I've done one thing. I planted a garden and its doing well considering the flooding here (we were very lucky compared to other towns) and the rabbits nibbling. Anyway I wanted to get ds's trim stripped in his room by July (not done yet), roof reshingled (that's dh mostly lol), deck ripped off out back (big safety hazard), and the upstairs bedrooms started (strip trim and wallpaper, paint, etc.) I have been working 24 hour weeks at my wah job so I work before the kids get up, nap time, and after they're in bed. I've been so busy doing the day to day stuff, and the weekends we have something going on at least one day. There seems to be no time for our house projects. I don't want to let the housework slip but it seems to w/ or w/out my help, but we want to have the bedrooms done by this winter. I need more hours in the day. How's everyone else doing on their lists?

this is so sad, i'm answering my own post. Just had to add. I saw a thread about someone trying to get things done w/ dd during the summer. I realized my "list" of projects is probably a little unreasonable, especially since I'm doing them alone (sans the roof). I still want to get them done, but would rather know I'm making memories w/ my kids. Please still feel free to add your opinions. I talk to myself sometimes.

Home improvement projects have been thrust upon me lately so we now have a new roof (almost) they will finish it tomorrow.

A new water heater and the garage is 75% clean. Waiting on my DH to finish his part.

Done some more decluttering and getting things organized around here.

The shead has been redone all we need to do is paint it.

I have organized and done at least one play date a week for my kids since summer vacation. Some weeks they have conned me into two.

I would love to scrapbook, but I just haven't had the time yet.

Oh and I have read a good book or two.

The few project that my DH and I have gotten done so far are:

A few pieces of siding replaced on the garage after they got ripped off with the last wind storm we had.

Patio is all done and put the flowers in yesterday in the bed that is attached to it. (Will post pics. later)

Got the pool up and going.

After 15 years, finally got the paneling taken down in the livingroom!!!

List of things still to do:

Put trim up in the familyroom.

Finish the livingroom wall.

Paint the fence outside.

Powerwash and restain 2 decks.

I hope that is it, I just know that I am forgetting something!

The biggest thing this summer is getting a new garage! The old one was torn down on Monday but in the mean time, our yard is cluttered with the garage stuff and some of the grass torn up! Hopefully that will all be fixed by the end of summer.

I don't have a list of things in my head or otherwise, but I have been making it up as I go, lol. I got my bedroom/craftroom decluttered, painted some shelves and have organized all my scrapbook and sewing supplies. I know there is more to do, but it hasn't "hit" me yet.
