I'm not as picky about it if I'm running the dishwasher immediately, but if I know they're going to sit there for a day or so I'll rinse them in the sink.

Do you rinse them in the sink or do you use the quick rinse cycle on your dishwasher?

i only run my dishwasher every 2-3 days. Lately I've been trying not to rinse them and see how clean they get. They get perfectly clean, I've hardly had any problems. When I'm loading the dishwasher I try to see how long I can go without turning the faucet on.

Things I've noticed don't come off are avocado and black bean and banana.

I run mine about twice a week and don't normally rinse anything. I do scrape off any food bits or scraps, but I don't rinse them.

I do rinse them before I put them in the dishwasher. We only run our dishwasher once a week.

No, we don't rinse, but our dishwasher is used at a minimum of once a day, frequently 2 times.

Nope, I don't and my dishes come out clean most of the time. Every once in a while a bowl will have nested into the bowl in front of it and then it didn't get clean, but that's not a big deal. I run my dishwasher 1 or 2 times a day.

I'm actually kind of blown away that people don't have to run their dishwasher everyday. My pots and pans from dinner take up almost the whole bottom rack, unless you guys wash by hand some days. LOL!

I do- though I know they say that you don't have to. I guess it is a habit that started as a kid- when my mom had use rinse first. THoguh I remember her getting a new dishwasher and the guy telling her she did not have to rinse- she still made us

We have a high end dishwasher and if I don't rinse they may not come out clean - it doesn't take that long to just swish them under the facet so I do it. It is really anoying when DH loads it and doesn't and then I find dirty dishes with really caked on food when I unload.

We don' t have a dishwasher, but I always try to fill the dishes with water so they will soak before I wash them.

I used too, the I was having problems with my dishwasher and called the Maytag co. they told me NOt to rinse them first or the soap and dishwasher will break down my dishes, it needs something to breakdown. I haven't since and one less thing for me to do works for me.
