Hi,

Has anyone here ever taken any classes at Joann's craft
stores? There are many great classes at the one down here.
I am particularly interested in the Cake decorating. But,
there are a bunch that sound great.

Please let me know what you're experience was if you
have done this?? Thanks!

I haven't taken any, but eventually I want to do the cake decorating as well. I am self taught and use Cakecentral Cake decorating ideas, cake tips, cake decorating articles, cake recipes, photos and more. on CakeCentral.com for a lot of help and inspiration.

Joanns has Wilton instructors so of course they are selling and pushing the Wilton products - just know there are other products, sometimes better products, out there either at a local cake supply store or on-line.

Thanks! I never thought about checking out other options! It
seems like a fun thing to do!

In the midwest Hobby Lobby and Michael's also offer the Wilton classes. You might find that a mom and pop cake store or a local supply store will offer the classes too.
