Strawberries have finished, and I've had *a* broccoli. I've had spinach and lettuce, but the spinach bolted while were were gone this weekend. I've been going after my herbs like mad!

Waiting for the next round of zuchini - think we have only gotten about 5 or 6 so far. Right now we are starting to get tomatoes (early girls and sweet 100s) oh they are good. I got one lemon cucumber - left it on too long and it was mostly seeds. We should be getting a ton of regular and lemon cucumbers in the next 3 weeks or so. Beans didn't really do much and my pepers are just starting to bloom - getting ready to plant some more pepper plants outside and some pumpkin plants - just waiting for DH to be done removing the tree stump so I can plant them and not worry about him trampling them.

We also have a ton of green onions, basil and parsley (much slower). I am going to replant a few other things and hope they make it.

Our strawberries have been pretty plentiful this year! We've had TONS of them! My tomatoes are soon to be ready, I've got three hanging plants of them and my little cherry tomatoes have FILLED one plant, they just haven't turned red yet. When I went to the farmers market yesterday the locals had TONS of new potatoes, cabbage and TONS AND TONS of onions, so I stocked up there. I got 4 bunches of onions. All of our asparagus was up about two weeks ago- we got a BUNCH and blanched a lot of it.

Brought in 1 tomato and ate it a week ago. My okra plants are about 6" tall - long way to go.

I now have an itty bitty green pepper and my tomatoes are getting bigger. My green beans are going crazy, I don't know that we'll be freezing any this year, we seem to be eating them as soon as we bring them in, lol.

The only thing that's ready right now from my garden is basil. However, in the next several weeks I should be harvesting shallots, peppers and two types of tomatoes. I love tomatoes and was so bummed when I heard about the salmonella outbreak. I figured it would just be a lot easier to grow my own than to wonder where it came from.
