I put every other day, but recently it's been raining every other day, so I don't water it, but when it doesn't rain, I water it every other day or the kids will play with the hose and it gets watered then.

Never. My goal each year is to mow it short enough that it burns off by July, and then I don't have to mow anymore.

Actually, it's mainly crabgrass, clover, dandelions and other lovelies. It's green and we keep it mowed, but it's not done in pretty patterns or anything. I don't really mow it to kill it, but I'm not sad if it fries.

I water my garden though

We used to water every day but we have since given up as when its hot enough it just burns off no matter how we tried. So far this year we have had enough rain that its very green. (knocking on wood)

I picked "Other", the only time our lawn gets watered is when it rains, we plant grass seed or lay sod or the kids use the sprinklers.

Never, I don't like to waste water like that. Plus no one around here waters. Right now I am glad our lawn is crispy, I don't have to mow!

Never. We have 3/4 acre, no in-ground system, so I would be spending all day moving a sprinkler around. Never mind that it makes no sense to water something to make it grow just to mow it. And the grass we have is minimal. It's mostly dandelion, creeping charlie, clover, bindweed, crabgrass, and other mystery weeds with tufts of grass stuck in. We like to say we're going for that "municipal park" look.

My husband takes pride in his green green manicured lawn. He waters when it looks like it needs it, maybe 2 times a week. If I had my way, he wouldn't water at all. I agree with calimari--makes now sense to make it grow so you can just mow it.
