I've been quite the backslider when it comes to my housework; the past month has been just awful, with my BIL coming home on furlow and then taking a "stay-cation" with DH having extended time off. Life is going to get busier in the next months, so I need to get myself back into the groove of things. I had such great accountability on here with all you ladies, and it seems like with the combining of forums, I haven't seen any daily cleaning threads. so, because I need it (desperately), I'm starting one!

• fold/put away two loads clean laundry
• 2 loads dirty laundry
• iron DH work clothes
• sweep/wash kitchen & bath floors
• clean out fridge, wipe down
• vacuum couch/all carpeting
• load dishwasher
• dust (DS did it - and did quite well!)
• straighten shelves
• change cat litter
• strip/re-make beds
• out and about: library, bank, store, return movie rental (moving to tomorrow, when I have a vehicle)

Extra I managed to get done: straightened up our bedroom closet, straighten DS room.

Anyone want to join me??

That's just great of you to start this, now I have to clean! JK!!

No, seriously thank you for giving me a kick in the butt, I am so behind on cleaning especially after DH being home for a week on vacation and with the holiday I have lots to catchup on.

I need to clean the bathroom top to bottom.
Get laundry started.
Empty the dishwasher of clean and load with dirty.
Can't really touch the livingroom considereing we are doing revamp projects in there.
Countertops need to be decluttered.
Beds made now that everyone is up and about.

I better get going on this list, will be back later!

I'm in the same boat. The house is a complete disaster. The week before last DH was in the hospital for 5 days. The house started falling apart and I just have not gotten back into my rhythm. Today I'm going to be a cleaning machine.

This is what I have accomplished so far:

1. Dining room — cleaned
2. 5 loads laundry, washed/put away
3. Foyer/stairs — cleaned
4. Formal living room — cleaned
5. Downstairs bathroom — cleaned
6. Guest bedroom — cleaned
7. Playroom — cleaned
8. Living room — cleaned

I do have a little cleaning to do today. While I was on vacation, my hubby cleaned the house top to bottom. Caught up all the laundry, did the dishes(and then I think he ate out at every meal), put in a new floor, and added several cabinets. He is stressing that we better not mess it up. I came back on Thursday(thankyou amtrak for the 7 hour delay) and the laundry is piling up again, plus I let my 13 year old make waffles, and told I would get the mess. I need to make my bed and change the sheets too. I hate changing the sheets.

Checking back in I got a few things done so far today:

I got 2 beds changed with their sheets and made.
1 load of laundry washed, now it's headed to get dried.
Had to go uptown and make 3 stops and managed to get it all done within an hour.
Made dinner quick for the kids.

Now I need to tackle my other items onto the kitchen counters for decluttering!

I spent last week doing a lot of the NEVER GET TO things done like:
wiping down base boards
wiping down fans
wash walls
complete dusting
window sills
washing couch cushions
washing rugs

This weekend we:
shampooed all the carpets
washed down the front wrap around porch

Now my to do list for today is:
unload dishwasher
bleach counter tops
clean fridge
sweep
vacuum
grocery list weeks menu
vacation packing list
bills

Next I need to do the following:
Straighten the living room
sweep and mop the kitchen
wipe down the bathroom
