Do you use it in all your laundry?

Colored clothes?

or just whites?

DO you really see a difference?

I never get the socks really white with bleach. Wondering if this will make a difference. TIA.

I use it mainly on baby puke clothes I make a paste for the REALLY bad stuff, and it works great on it.

I also just put a bit in all the laundry now. I think it helps take some of the stains from DH's clothes out, and it seems to make the whites better, other than his really stained socks (some of his boots turn his socks red/purple....)

I use it in all my laundry, but I actually use the Aldi version, Tandil, which works GREAT! I tried the dollar store version of Oxyclean, but it didn't dissolve in my cold water wash (which I wash almost everything in cold water). The Tandil suds right up and works very well. I add half a scoop (it comes with a plastic scoop inside) to every wash. And after it's gone, I use the plastic scoop cups for my laundry detergent. Fill up the cup and toss it in the wash (cup & soap). I notice a difference when I use it, so if I run out, I do add a little more detergent in each wash, but using half a scoop makes it last a while. Dh's undies and our socks come out nice and white, and I use a little stain remover on DS's play-induced stains as well.

I use it on my whites, and sometimes on the colors if they also have white on them.

I've found that soaking a load over night helps incredibly. I was quite pleased to see the bottom of the kids' socks brightened up! (if I could just get them to wear their slippers instead of socks )

I use oxy-clean and love it. I boil water, add oxy clean and tide and soak all DD's bibs for a clean white look.

I use White-Brite for whites. It's like bleach, but not bleach. I buy the powder version and I like it. You can also try a little bit of blue. My mom used to use it all the time, but DH does not like it, so I don't.

I put a scoop in every load, except whites, both dh and ds are hard on their clothes. For whites I still use bleach and you can't mix the two. I should try a white load with oxi clean instead to see if it works as well or better.

It cannot be used in a front loading washer correct? Because it has to be mixed with water before you add the clothing? Has anyone found a way around this?

I don't usually use it in the laundry. I use it more as a pre-treater. If I've exhausted all other measures (hydrogen peroxide, original blue dawn, etc), then I will fill a tub with a gallon of water, put in a big scoop of oxi-clean, and soak the item/items for a few days, and even up to a week to 10 days. MANY times the clothes will get completely clean, even if it's been washed and dried.

I add some to every load, colors and whites. It helps with those things that slip through and don't get pre-treated.

I buy it at Sam's in the big box.
