I am the creative activities coordinator for my MOPS group and we are doing an Adventures in Mothering theme this year. I have popcorn boxes that I was thinking about making into favor-type boxes for each Mom for the first mtg. I want to put things inside for the Moms and a brief explanation of what they're for. For example:

Tide-To-Go pen -- "when spit on the thumb just isn't enough"
small keychain flashlight -- "so you can find the sippy cup (with milk in it) that's mysteriously disappeared"
"Do Not Disturb" sign -- "hang on the outside of the bathroom door when you need a 5 minute vacation"
empty spinach can, cleaned, filled with chocolate -- "a little stash just for you, cleverly disguised to keep the kiddos away!"

I would like to include a majority of things that are actually useful. I'm not against a few things that are just for fun, but I don't want a whole box full of junk things that will be thrown out. What else can I include? Can you girls help me out??? Thanks!

Life Savers--to remind you of the many times others have needed your help and you theirs

Small calendar - to help keep family running smoothly.

Hershey “Hugs” and “Kisses” - to hold us over when our kids are not around to deliver.

Water bottle (or a bottle of water) - because a hydrated mom is a happier mom.

This is a really cute idea!!! Do you mind if I copy it for maybe the daycare moms?

My first thought was pen and a small pad of paper.
How about a list of useful parenting websites? A group directory so they can call someone else for support when needed?
A small thing of hand sanitizer.
