My aunt gave my mom some very nice clothes but they all have a heavy perfume scent. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting rid of this perfume smell? My mom doesn't wear perfume so the heavy scent bothers her.

My first thoughts were baking soda and white vinegar. Maybe sprinkle them with baking soda first and let them sit, then wash them with some white vinegar?

My first thoughts were vinegar and baking soda as well. I was thinking just to put both in the wash, and vinegar in the rinse though

If you do dry baking soda, maybe tie 'em up in a garbage bag with the baking soda and shake, let sit awhile.. that's what I'd start with anyway too
