How old are your kids and what are they going to be for Halloween? Will you be purchasing the costume or making it?

DS will have just turned 2 a month before Halloween and I saw a costume of a UPS Driver (Brown) at Party City. It was $20, which isn't too bad, but I'm not sure how it's going to fit him and was thinking that maybe I could maybe put something together for him....but wasn't sure what to do. Plus I'm not sure if he'd even want to wear it!!!

I LOVE THE FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My DD is 16 so she isn't doing the whole trick or treating thing anymore, but one year I did make a witch costume for her.
My DS is 9 and I have no idea what he wants to be.

DD will almost be 2 when it is Halloween. We will probably buy her costume... Hopefully she will want a cheap one. Last year we bought her costume at Meijers. We gave her a choice between a lady bug costume (that was like 6.99) and a butterfly one (that was 12.99) and she grabbed at the lady bug one. Not sure about this year though...

I will probably dress her as a princess again. She has a dress that was given to her and it still fits. Her little sister will do the same. I don't want to buy a new costume until they are older if I can wait.

Do you think she will keep the costume on?

My girls are 7 and 4. I hope my youngest fits in a dog costume her sister wore at her age. It tends to be really cold here on Halloween so I try for warm costumes. I'm brainstorming for my oldest.

My kids are 14, 8, and 3. My 14 yr. old isn't dressing up this year. My 8 yr. old is always changing her mind, so I will wait a little longer to see what she will be. My 3 yr. old is going to be a fireman. My sister gave us the costume and it fits him great! It has the pants, jacket, hat, boots and even a matching candy bucket.

My DD who just turned 5 yrs old, is going old school.
She either wants to be a witch or a vampire.
4 yrs old she was a: cheerleader
3 yrs old:Dorothy From Wof Oz
2yr old: Sully from Monsters Inc
1 yr old: pink poodle
2 months: tiger

I have always either gotten hand me downs or bought the costumes.
I am not very handy with making stuff like that

Kaylee was a pumpkin when she was 3 days old her first Halloween. I don't think I bought a costume last year, but just made her a cheerleader using an outfit she recieved as a gift. This year we will probably do a princess or something easy.

I looked at some, but some look like they could get hot if the weather doesn't cool down, and you never know in Virginia!

Our family usually does a theme. This year we are doing Little Red Riding Hood.

7 dd - LRRH
5 ds - Big Bad Wolf
dh - Lumber Jack???
me - Grandma

Last year we did Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Capt. Hook, and Tiger Lily. We have also done Disney characters and Wizard of Oz. It is a lot of fun and we get a great response from family and friends!
