Farmers Almanac worth buying?

This is kind of a spin-off from the garden log, but am going to REALLY try to improve my garden next year. I also am going to purchase some chickens in the Spring. So, I'm wondering should I purchase the "Farmers Almanac"? I've thumbed thru them in the grocery line, but always put them back. So, have you guys gotten any good tips or enjoy getting it each year? Thanks!
