Hello All!! I have been cleaning my daughter's room today and Im tired of her stuffed animals taking up so much space. I don't want to put them away, because they are so cute and she has so many different kinds. I was trying to think of a way to keep them out in the open but not messy. I bought one of those nets that you hang in a corner, but her room now, has no empty corners due to windows and doors. I thought of hanging them on the walls or something. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. She starts back to school on Aug. 1 and I want her room to be clean and organized for then. Thanks in advance!! Have a great weekend!

We tried one of those "pet net" things, and it worked great! But we put it low so they could still get to the animals. Well, out bratty nieces and nephews thought it would be great as a hammock... needless to say it came busting (it was anchored and everythig!) out of the wall! It works great for stuffed animals, just not children. I'd recomend hanging it higher in the corner of a room and if they want them they can ask for them!

What about getting those bags that you hang shoes onto the back of the door. It has holders to put the animals in and you can cut some of them to make a bigger holder to put the bigger animals in.
Just an idea

I made my own "net" by using an old blanket in ds #1 room and a toddler bed flat sheet in ds#2 room. Ididn't ruin the sheet so i can take it down later and still have a complete set for the bed. Anyway, I folded the blanket into a LARGE triangle and then I used my staple gun and stapled it to the corner of the room. I stapled the two ends first and then the middle into the corner. I put enough staples thast they could use it for a hammock.lol. I'm sure that you could do it a little different if you don't want staples in the wall. I made sure it hung low in the middle so that a BUNCH of animals could fit. It looks really cute and matches the decor of the bedroom. HTH. I SO need a digital camera so that I could show a pic. It woudl be a lot easier to understand then.

If they are small enough, open shelving would work nice. For the larger ones i just bought one of those portable mesh laundry hampers in a bright color and she can easily toss them in there when she is done playing with them.

Hi all,
I am new to the boards, but I just had the same problem in my dd's room. First I let her pick a few to keep out on her bed and the rest I put on the top shelf of her closet since she is not old enough to reach the top anyway! I put all that I could up there and it has worked out for us. Whatever didn't fit we donated to the local fire company they give them to children when they are responding to an emercency with a child involved.

My younger Dd has a plastic chain with clips on it that is mounted to the ceiling.

I soooo do not like stuffed animals, they collect too much dust sitting out, I am trying to limit how many come into our home. I think they multiply!

If there are a lot of "Beanie" size ones an over the door organizer is good. My kids keep a few on the bed, on their rockers, and older DD on a bookshelf.

Good luck!
