I purchased a bedding set that has taupe, cream and varying shades of blue. RIght now I can't decide if I want blue walls and taupe curtains or taupe walls with blue curtains or taupe walls and cream curtains. I want the curtains to be a solid color because the bedding is patterned. Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would go with blue but that is just because my room is blue and I love it ... I love to go in there and just sit and read ... it is very relaxing.

I would say neutral walls so you can change the accessories freely and not have to match to the wall color.

I agree. I would go taupe walls and blue curtains. I think taupe walls and cream curtains would be to bland but I love color.

I would go with a neutral pallett so that you can freely change bedding/curtains etc. and not have to constantly repaint. JMO

On the practical side, blue curtains will stay cleaner looking longe, but I also love blue walls in a nursery. I have done them before...in my youngest son's nursery..and it WAS very calming. I loved going in there and rocking..before and after he was born. It was just peaceful.

Is this a nursery, kids room, or adult room?

lol I'm confused, I thought it was a grown up room For a kids room I would go with blue. My dd's have very decorated rooms but I enjoy redecorating for them when they want to. Our room I want snug and cozy and I don't want to be redecorating all the time or at least painting! Ugh we have BIG furniture in there and I dont want to move particularly our bed in and out of that room!
