I've been reading a lot about this lately, and while some of it is unpractical a lot of the ideas really work. The main thing is de-cluttering your space and making it harmonious using elements of nature. Anyone else use Feng Shui in decorating?

I just bought a book on this last week! I am definitely into the uncluttered look. I prefer most things to be hidden and maybe a few accent pieces out. From the limited amount I've read so far, I really like it!

I have been reading and rereading a book I got on this. I keep thinking I will get started on moving things around, but my house is set up really strangely. I have to figure out where exactly to place the items they suggest. I'm really hoping to get some major positive chi going.

I was thinking we could get a list of easy Feng Shui things to implement in any home, on any budget. Here are few I could think of:

1. Declutter - if you don't use it, love it, or need it get rid of it!
2. Get rid of items that cause you guilt. For example: gifts kept even though you don't like them, inherited furniture you don't like, etc.
3. Add photos of smiling people.
4. Add living plants.
5. Remove anything that is blocking a stairway or traffic flow
