We painted ours bright lime green last year and we love it. Everyone says they love it. My niece painted hers the same color after seeing ours. It's very bright, clean & modern.

We don't have a color yet...I have striped wallpaper that I can't WAIT to get rid of! We just moved into this house about a year ago. Our kitchen at our old house was sage green with bright white trim and I LOVED it! I might have to do that color again here at this house! LOL!

I'm not a fan of white kitchens...my MIL always uses white in all her kitchens (white or light colored wood cabinets, white appliances etc) and it just my least favorite 'styles'.

Just depends on what you like!

In our last house we painted our kitchen a color called "terra cotta." It really hid dirt well, which was important with older kids cooking for themselves. We only used this color on the walls where the stove and countertops were because it is a rather strong color. The other walls were a beige-ish color that was the same as the livingroon since the kitchen opened onto that room.

This isn't a good picture, but the only one I could find. I was canning that day and ds decided to see what he could get away with:

Dark RED!!!

Our main colors in the main rooms of the house are tan, chocolate brown & red. The cabinets didn't look good at all next to the tan or chocolate brown so red it was. Our kitchen is pretty open and has VERY tall ceilings. I love the red in there!

I agree with warm tones for a kitchen: reds, oranges, yellows, and variatons of them. In our last house, I did a fresco technique in a terra cotta color and loved it. It reminded me of a little European cafe. Now, our kitchen is a warm caramel color. It goes well with the countertop and the adjacent family room which is a brick red.

This is the 'before' shot we just took. It's light creamy yellow with a hand painted back splash. It will be a much deeper darker yellow (but not the orange I wanted).

I would love a lime green kitchen! But our house came with blue countertops and we're not adding that to the renovation project.

Love the kitchen pics. Terracotta is on my list of favorite colors for a kitchen! I'd love a nice modern color for my plain kitchen.

I have a yuck wallpaper that is needing to come down in my kitchen...

However I got a crazy wild idea that when I go to paint my kitchen I'm going for CANDY APPLE RED!! Don't ask me why but I love the idea of it!! I have white and black appliances and I think it'd look sharp

We painted one wall of our kitchen brick red and the others pumpkin/burnt orange. We have white cabinets and trim and black appliances. I love the way it turned out!!

When we first picked out paint, the color was something like desert/sunset orange. I'm not sure what happened but when it got on our walls it was peach! We quickly ran out the next afternoon and got new paint!
