Christmas Wrap

For wrapping Christmas gifts the past few years I have purchased solid color green or red paper at the card outlet store and wrapped everyone's presents the same.  Instead of buying all that ribbon I bought a roll of 6 inch wide tulle at the craft store on sale for a couple bucks two years ago.  I used that to tie bows on the presents--it's lasted two years and counting.  It's easy, quick, and the gifts look really nice.  And, everyone knows who they are from.  Also, instead of buying gift tags, I cut up last years Christmas cards and write on the back of the picture.  Then I hole punch it and use a bit of ribbon to tie it to the bow; or just tape a corner of it to the gift.  The picture decorates the package too! -- Amy from IL

This is a tip everyone knows but it is a great reminder.  After Christmas last year I stocked up on Christmas wrapping paper, bows, tags, and ribbon.  I even bought more ornaments and holiday tins.  I spent a total of 2 dollars.  I will not need paper for 3 or 4 years.  It is usually 90% off and sometimes in late January 95% off.  I even found boxes of Candy Canes for .02 cents.  Stock Up!!! -- Michelle from NC

The other day I was wrapping a gift for my Daughter to take to her Girl Scout Christmas party, and couldn't find the scotch tape anywhere. Searching for an alternative, and not really wanting to use duct tape, LOL I spied the craft box and thought,  "Hey the Glue!". Right on top was a glue stick. It worked beautifully! It looked like a professional did it. I will be using glue sticks on all my wrapping this year. :) -- Sue from TX
