Frugal Halloween Costumes: Fortune Teller

One of my favorite Halloween costumes, one I used a few years ago, is a gypsy fortuneteller. Wear a long skirt, peasant blouse, loads of costume jewelry, and dramatic makeup. As a fun prop, I carried a bag of fortune cookies with me. Whenever I encountered someone (friend, store clerk, whoever), I asked if they would like their fortune told, then I handed them a fortune cookie. People got a kick out of it!
