Frugal Craft Ideas:  Decorative Flower Pot

Decorative Flower Pot

Terra Cotta Pot (any size)

Acrylic Paint

Stencils, sponges, stamps

Spray sealant

Potting soil

Plant or flower

Paint terra cotta pot with a base coat of acrylic paint in desired color.  Wait 24 hours for it to dry completely, then decorate the pot using stencils or stamps, or sponge-paint.  Wait another 24 hours for the pot to dry; then spray with a sealant so the pain doesn't bleed.  Wait until sealant has dried, then fill with potting soil, and the plant of your choice!
