Fun and Frugal: Rice Craft for Kids

This simple, frugal craft idea takes only minutes to make but keeps kids busy for hours!
You'll Need:
1 C. white rice
1 tsp. rubbing alcohol
3-4 drops food coloring
Mix ingredients above in a bowl. Spread rice out on wax paper or aluminum foil to dry (about an hour). Use in activity tables, cake pans, etc. for indoor fun.
Add fun objects like spoons, funnels, matchbox cars, etc. Seasonal food coloring, like red and green for Christmas is fun too! Try red and pink for Valentine's Day, orange for Halloween, green for St. Patrick's Day, etc.
