If I had a day to myself...:
Shave my legs, polish my toenails, read a book and take a nap!!!

Money Saving Tips:
When looking for a Play Fort for your children look to neighbors, classifieds, etc. for one's their kids have outgrown. Most people just want to get them out of their yard, and will give them to you, or just want a small amount for them (compared to what they cost new!). With a little hard work and paint yours will be good as new, and kids don't know that it's not brand new...it's new to them!!

Bargain Hunting Strategies:
After working in the grocery industry for five years, I've learned that stores frequently change the "pattern" or planogram of their shelves, so they pull off a lot of items and put them in grocery carts and mark them down substantially just to get rid of them... so 50 cent spices, laundry detergent marked down, etc. It's always worth it to stop and go thru them!

Products we can't live without:
Cheerios, vinegar (to clean the floors!) and crystal light raspberry lemonade (worth the money!)

In the Kitchen:

This is so SIMPLE and elegant! Give it a try!

SHERRIED BREAST OF CHICKEN WITH GRAVY
3 lg. whole chicken breasts or 6 halves
2 tsp. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salad oil
3/4 c. sherry or water
1 env. chicken gravy mix
1 c. milk

Skin and bone chicken breasts. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Roll chicken breast in flour mixture. Heat butter and oil in skillet and brown chicken breasts. Pour sherry over chicken. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.
Combine envelope of gravy mix with milk in saucepan; heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove chicken from skillet, pour gravy into skillet and reheat with pan juices. pour sauce over chicken.

Organization:
Ok, I sound more organized then I am, but toys were taking over my house.  I sorted them into plastic bins, then I stacked them and rotate the toys, and just like at school, when they are finished with playtime, they put them back in the right place and put them away! (It's easier than it sounds!)
