If I had a day to myself...:
Either spend the day at the library or catch up on all those house projects that never seem to get done.

Money Saving Tips:
LIBRARY!!!!  A never ending supply of books and videos that cost me nothing (as long as I make sure I get them back on time!)  I also am a big believer of "make your own" projects and recycling materials.  I never buy play dough, paints, etc.  We check out books with recipes for these things, make them ourselves, and store them in re-used baby food jars, etc.  It's fun, educational and much cheaper than buying the stuff!

Bargain Hunting Strategies:
I love dollar stores, Big Lots, and frequent a store called AX MAN SURPLUS for science and art supplies.

Products we can't live without:
While there are a great many things we love and that make our lives easier, I do not think I have found one single item that I could not do without if I had to, although my computer comes close!

In the Kitchen:
My family loves out goat cheese/spinach pizza.  I make a crust with corn meal on the bottom.  Spread with a pesto sauce (olive oil, garlic, basil, and parmesan), sprinkle with grilled chicken, crumbled goat cheese, and spinach, and top it all off with some mozzarella.  HEALTHY, DELICIOUS and EASY (not to mention it feels so "exotic")!

Organization:
I'm a big believer in those clear plastic shoe boxes.  I watch for them to go on sale and buy several.  Even if I don't have any use for them at the moment, I know I will soon.  They are great for toys, office supplies, kitchen gadgets, bathroom sundries...you name it!  Keeps everything neat and you can see what is in the box at a glance.
