Real Mom Profile

07.30.2006

Name: Michelle
Age: 30
Home: Rock Falls, IL

Family's Names and Ages:
Nathan, 29, Micah, 4, Claire 3, Eli 1

Occupation:
Homemaker - I used to be a Nanny

If I had a day to myself...:
Sleep in, go shopping, read magazines, do my own pedicure, and watch People's Court!

Money Saving Tips:
We try to evaluate every dollar we spend before we spend it. Pinch pennies wherever we can.

Bargain Hunting Strategies:
In our area, we love the Dollar Tree.  My kids earn money doing chores and get to buy inexpensive toys and games there with their hard earned cash.

Also, our local Wal-Mart ad matches other local stores.  So I look through all the ads and coupons in the Sunday paper, and get all my sales at Wal-Mart for my one stop shopping (on a tight budget).

Products we can't live without:
My kids love their Gerber Insulated Sippy Cups.  They don't leak unless the valve need replaced and are super durable and long lasting.

Organization:
I hate clutter so I always try to put things back where they came from as soon as I am done using them.
