Job Title:
Mommy
Mia Bella Soy Candle Distributor
Creator of the "Pregnancy Survival Kit"

Job Description:
I distribute Mia Bella Candles. I sell them retail, do home parties and get residual income.

I also sell my "Pregnancy Survival Kit" at area gifts shops and obgyns.

How I Started My Business:
One of my best friends was pregnant and having a hard time. I sat down and made a list of essential things pregnant women must have (tums, palmers lotion, crackers, pregnancy book). I have a basket/bag with 15 items. Each items gives a description of why it is needed for a healthy pregnancy.

I started being a distributor of Mia Bella Candles two months ago. I have since sold well over $4,000 in candles. I started being a distributor for $39.99 and have never left my comfort zone.

My Typical Work Schedule:
I only take my candles/baskets to the places I would be going anyway. There is no need to add extra miles and minutes to my already busy day. I have made candle/basket sales at typical places; my daughters school ($800), post office ($100), beauty shop ($100), library ($50), My daughters physical therapist office ($400), the list goes on and on. I never leave my comfort zone and have made a lot of money. I also get a check each month for residual income from those on my "team."

What I Love About My Job:
Never leaving my comfort zone. If I don't have to leave the house, I'll send out a couple letters containing a brochure and sample. I have retailers in my area now selling my baskets and candles because of those letters. I also am addicted to the soy soaps. They are all natural and don't dry and over cleanse yours skin. I wash my hair, face, shave my legs wit it. I no longer need soap, shampoo, conditioner, gel, shaving cream or lotion. I wouldn't consider washing my kids in anything but the bella bar. A religious group came to the door to witness. They left with $200 worth of candles. I have 8 people working on my "team." Some have had even greater success than me!

Challenges I Face:
I want to earn extra income while staying at home with my daughter (who is in physical therapy). I wouldn't allow my baskets or candle business to take away time from her or running a smooth household. Sometimes that is a challenge.

Tips and Advice:
Being the first in your area to sell the all natural soy candles is key. People like having the option for soy candles and soaps.
