Job Description:
Planning decorating parties for hostesses, placing orders, and keeping up on decorating tips to name a few. All of which are very fulfilling and fun!
How I Started My Business:
I started "consulting" after my first child was born because I couldn't bear to leave her all day. In the beginning, I only worked with one client at a time for about 15-20 hours a week. I would visit their office once a week and do the work from home.
My Typical Work Schedule:
Taking care of my family is my first priority so sometimes that leaves little time to devote to my business. I spend as much time as I can talking with hostesses and potential hostesses to schedule bookings, putting on decorating shows and meeting with clients to share decorating ideas for their home. Your success in a home business is directly related to how much time you devote to it so you can get as little or as much as you desire.
What I Love About My Job:
