I never paid more then 1/3 their value and the savings were phenomenal!! I
tell all my friends about it!! -- Jennifer from MN
I have a lot of money saving ideas on this one I have a 7 month old. I
asked my sons doctor about the off brand formula the Parents Choice with
Iron and Lipids. He said it is the same thing as the Enfamil with Lipil
that Wal-Mart charges less because they don't advertise as much like
handing out diaper bags and pens and stuff. The Parents choice is 17.00
for a large tub and the Enfamil is 25.00. -- Melanie from ME
I saved nearly half the cost of buying formula by buying only powdered
formula, and buying the store brand. BY LAW generic formulas have to be
the same as the name brands, they all have to offer the same nutrition and
be government approved. No risk. -- Susabelle from MO
I also used Carnation Good Start
formula when I needed to supplement with nursing. Both of my girls had no
problem breast feeding or taking a bottle. As they got older, we then used
Carnation for the older babies (forgot the name) and that worked well for us.
I subscribed to their magazine and always got coupons for free or discounted
formula. This helped a great deal for us! The magazine had some
great tips for me as the girls were at that age. -- Jennifer from MN
I got my BEST money saving baby tip
from right here on your website. I saved HUGE amounts of money on formula with
my son by buying formula coupons off eBay.. I

I have 4 children ages 5, 2 1/2 and 1
year old twins. I had to formula feed my kids and When you take your baby
in for their check up, I always asked for extra formula. I would get
anywhere between 2-5 cans. this helped in the expense of formula.
Doctors at the clinic, always have formula on hand. -- Roxie from MN
If you can't breastfeed can you
qualify for WIC. If you do you get free formula for a year and other food after
that. We got free Nutramigen and later Isomil for one of our kids that had
digestive problems. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding you can also get
free food. Join the formula clubs for free coupons and the generics are just as
good like Carnation Good Start and lots cheaper. -- Sharon from OH
I have a 16 month old and we got tons
of samples from Enfamil but because of an allergic reaction to it she couldn't
drink it so I went to www.verybestbaby.com
they give you coupons every month at least 3 of them for a formula called Good Start.
It's really good formula, and then when the baby is old enough for cereal they
will give you coupons for cereal as well. The magazines that they mail are also
very helpful!! -- Jessica from WA
Sign up for all the companies that
welcome a new child-- formula, diapers, Gerber,... before and after the baby's
arrival they sent me coupons, samples and magazines with information.
Often your doctor's office or hospital gives out cards that ask you to get a
free magazine
subscription. These were a huge help. I received 8 cans of formula
because I listed I was unsure if I would nurse or use formula. In the end I
nursed, and was able to give away the cans to a mom who needed them. --
