Thanksgiving Countdown Craft

thanksgiving is less than 3 weeks away. My preschooler is always asking how many days until the next holiday. Here is a fun craft we did to countdown to Thanksgiving and focus on thankfulness with our kids.

I cut leaf shapes out of fall colored patterned paper and cardstock, one for each date until Thanksgiving. We wrote a number on each one, and something we were thankful for on the opposite side. Then I strung them on thread, using a needle, and hung them on the wall. Each day until Thanksgiving, we turn the leaf with that date over and remember something we are thankful for.
