I just created one for my daughter and myself to use as a new communication journal. She's a pre-teen, so I had found that by writing some positive, uplifting messages to her each night helped open the lines of communication and strengthen our relationship (Thanks to Susannah, who posted the idea here: Ideas for communicating with your kids).
