I really like making holiday cards to send to relatives that live far away. St. Patrick’s Day isn’t typically a big holiday for us (we’re not Irish) but when I saw these wigs at the Dollar Spot at Target I had a flash of inspiration.
I took some silly photos of the kids, and ordered prints at Walgreens*. We then got a pack of googly eyes at Michaels to make them even sillier. I used some scrap paper I already had for the cards. The total cost of the entire St. Patrick’s Day photo card project was around $5 for six cards. That included the wigs and hat, too (which I can use again next year for another fun photo card).
*From now through 3/19 get 25 prints FREE when you order 25 at Walgreens.com. Just enter coupon code LUCKY25 at checkout. Pick up in-store.

What a hilarious idea! You could totally use the same crafty bits for other goofy cards: Easter, Father’s Day, birthday, whatever! I’m bookmarking you and posting for my visitors. Thanks!
