Today was a hard day. My husband has a chronic condition and I was really on edge last night because if we didn’t get it under control, I was afraid a trip to the hospital was in our near future. So I stress-ate a little last night and hardly got any sleep. Hubs was actually off work today so we ran errands together and such. Once we realized he was fine and the worries dissipated, I found myself too tired to keep my eyes open. I took a nap and woke up groggy and kind of depressed. I think it’s because I was coming down from stress induced adrenaline and I was just mentally tired. I did NOT want to work out. I wanted to bury myself in a book and be lazy for the rest of the day.
Guess what? I powered through and did my PLYO Fix workout. My husband and 8 year old daughter even did it with me. It was tough but I have so much more energy now! I’m currently drinking a Shakeology as a type this up. I’m going to finish household chores and finally bake the blueberry bran muffins I have been wanting to make all week. I’m basically going to look up a typical recipe and replace the fat, sugars, and white flour. We shall see how they turn out because I have no idea!

As far as the food goes, I did alter my original meal plan a little bit and I did cheat a bit but next week is a new week. My biggest problem isn’t actually “stress eating.” For the most part everything I ate was clean eating. It was actually trying to eat all of the food! It’s so much and it’s been really hot here. I’m talking about 91 degrees in September which is weird for Pennsylvania. So my appetite has been down and I didn’t want to force myself to eat when I’m not hungry. That will change as it gets colder, I will get hungrier.
Our community center opens up again next week so I can workout there and hit up the treadmill. We are also taking a trip to the beach Thursday-Saturday because it’s way less expensive to go now then before Labor Day. I plan on sticking with my plan as much as possible and doing my workouts by running/walking on the beach. More on that later!
