After-School Snacks Younger Kids Can Make

  • Microwave Popcorn
  • Veggies with Dip
  • Ants on a Log (Celery with peanut butter, Nutella or cheese spread topped with raisins)
  • Fruit and Cheese Kabobs
  • Nachos
  • Tortilla Rollups (Recipe: Strawberry Roll-Ups)
  • Yogurt Parfaits
  • Toast with butter, peanut butter, jam, jelly or another favorite spread
  • Smoothies
  • English Muffin Pizza in the microwave
  • Tuna or Chicken Salad Sandwich
  • Crackers with different cheeses

*Some of these after-school snacks do require the use of a microwave or toaster.
