Creating a Health and Fitness Vision Board

November 20, 2015 by Bekah Leave a Comment

Creating a Health and Fitness Vision Board is something I have wanted to do but haven’t yet.  I want something pretty that I can hang on the wall and remind me of my goals and why I’m doing this.  I want something that will make me feel good and motivated on my “down days.”

First I need to buy either a cute cork board or French memo board.  I have actually seen some at Goodwill so I will check there first.  Then I’ll check out Ross or Home Goods and maybe even Five and Below.

Once I find one that I want, I need to figure out what to put on it.  Here are my ideas so far.

  • I want to display my “theme song” for my journey. I know it sounds cheesy, but my theme song is “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten.  I love the words, the tempo, and everything else.  Maybe I’ll print out a photo or a quote.
  • I’m also going to print out my favorite quote:

  • I also want to display a picture of my wedding photo:

  • I also want to display this photo.  This is Heather, my cousin’s wife.  She has been doing Beachbody for over a year.  This past summer she was able to fit back into her wedding dress!  She decided to do a “Trash the Dress” photo shoot.  I want NEVER personally do that because I have two daughters who might want to wear it someday.  However, if I could one day fit into that dress again, it would be AMAZING!  So I want to display a picture of Heather as a reminder of someone who got to that goal.

I also want to post pictures of my girls and of friends that have worked and struggled, and did it.  I’m a visual person and I need visual motivation.

I’ll make sure to post pictures once I have my board up and complete!

There are more ways I have tried to keep my motivation going strong.  See them HERE.
