Dollar Store Idea: Marshmallow Peeps Easter Tree

March 15, 2009 by Kimberly Danger 1 Comment

In search of a fun, easy craft idea the kids will love?   Try a Marshmallow Peeps tree for Easter!  We found all the supplies for this one at our local dollar store (or right in our own backyard).   The vase, decorative glass “gems” and array of Marshmallow Peeps were $1/each at the Dollar Tree. We found some branches in the backyard to use in the vase. I already had some crafting wire at home and used that to attach the Peeps to the branches. You could also use a needle and thread, ornament hangers or floral wire.

Total cost of this project was just $7 plus tax. Plus, there were enough Peeps left over to eat!
