Easy Thanskgiving Turkey Cookies - Fun for Kids!

Easy Thanksgiving Turkey Cookies

Here’s an easy Thanksgiving turkey cookie that you and the kids can make together.  It takes just a few minutes.  These would look cute on the dinner table at Thanksgiving!

You’ll need:

  • Vanilla Wafer Cookies
  • Wilton Candy Eyeballs
  • Candy corn (turkey’s feathers)
  • Orange M&Ms, cut in half (turkey’s beak)
  • Red licorice, cut (turkey’s wattle)
  • Chocolate Candy Melts (or Rollos)
  • Corn syrup (to act as glue)

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.   Place Vanilla Wafer cookies on a greased baking sheet.  Spoon a little corn syrup on each one.  This will act as the “glue” to hold the candy corn on top.  Arrange five candy corn candies on top of the cookie for the turkey’s feathers.  Next, place the chocolate candy melt on top.  Place in the oven for 2-3 minutes, until chocolate is soft.  Remove immediately.  Place eyes, beak and wattle on the turkey.  Allow to cool fully.
